     The top side pf IBN ZARAFE's lineage begins with his
sire ZARAFE. ZARAFE is a product of some noted and talented horses of Arabian
horse history. *WITEZ II, *FERSEYN and *RASEYN to name a few. In his show
career ZARAFE showed versatility by winning top prizes in many class "A" All
Arabian shows in Jumping, Harness, English Pleasure, Roadster and Side Saddle
classes. Twice he was awarded top 10 in the National Arabian Championship
classes. ZARAFE's size, conformation and disposition have been passed on to IBN
ZARAFE.

     From his dam FARVIEWS KAMAL, IBN ZARAFE's heritage
reads back to Guards- man, *Raffles, Farana and Skowronek which are noted
bloodlines from the Crabbet Stud of England. Farview Kamal, proved herself as a
Park Horse Champion and her fame as a brood mare by producing two National
Champion Stock horses. Farviews Kamal has passed on to IBN ZARAFE her
temperament and proud carriage, and the ability to produce champions.

     IBN ZARAFE is half brother to the mare SUNSHINE LADY,
sired by ZARAFE out of BINT SKOWRANA. "LADY" has been shown successfully in
Harness, English Pleasure and SIde-Saddle classes. In 1984 she was Grand
National Champion. LADY is appraised at 1.5 million dollars. IBN ZARAFE has the
backround to be successful whether in the show ring, on the trail, or on the
breeding paddock.
